Go Speed Racer Go!

I can't let Christy post everything! So here is a picture of Christy on her new bike. I saw it in a garage sale on the side of the road on my way home from work and picked it up for $10 then we worked on it this afternoon to bring it back to its former glory! It was in great shape, couldn't have been ridden much but had sat out for quite a number of years. After repacking the bearings, lubing the chain and peddles, polishing the rims then adjusting the brakes we rode a quick 6 miles to break it in. Every thing works great (though the rubber on the tires may give out soon)! This old schwinn sprint gets a new life as a gas saving tour de Medford!

Tobin and I got to fly up to Spokane and see our good college friends Zach, Corrine, and little baby Abbie, and Corrine's brother Derek. It was lots of fun and enjoyable to be around a new little one. So here are some photos.

Short trip to P-town

Well, a week and a half ago, Tobin and I drove up and back to Portland in one day. Tobin had to take an exam (yuck) and I got to run 10 miles near downtown Portland (fun). On our way back, we got to stop by Andy and Ruth's and enjoy some playtime with the little redheads.

Memorial Weekend in Spokane

Well, I've been in Spokane since Sunday and get to stay till tomorrow. Tobin got to come up too and see our good college friends Zach, Corrine, and their little one Abbie, and have fun with Corrine's brother Derek. Lots of fun. We've gotten some great newborn baby time and were able to help out a bit around the Strandy Household! Anyways, I'll post some pictures later. =)

Shannon and Josh's Big Day

It was a fun time had by all. Dinner was a yummy pasta bar-DELICIOUS! And it was amazingly nice to have the wonderful help to set up, host, and clean up!

Wedding Party Rafting!!!

Well, it's now Rummel Tradition (to no longer be held, because both Rummels are married off) to go Rafting on the White Salmon! It was lots of fun, and much fast than my first experience before Tobin and my wedding!

Weekend in Bend

The first weekend in May, Tobin and I headed over to Bend. We had some fun time with the parents, celebrating Mother's Day Early, and I got to go to a baby shower of one of my good friends from high school Jenny Werner (Spurgeon).

Yes, it is officially Tobin's 27th birthday (and his sister's wedding...he'll never forget their anniversary!), but I wanted to dedicate this post to him! He's an amazing husband and my best friend! So let's celebrate!

Wedding Time!

Another quick note, that we are hear in Trout Lake, and busily decorating and coordinating for Shannon's wedding on Saturday. Tobin and I finally met our new brother-in-law, and he's great! We're both so excited for Shannon!

We went rafting yesterday; it was beautiful and fast rafting!!! No one is doing the falls because, it's just to high! 3 1/2 feet! But the rest was a wild ride! No one got lost and no boat overturned, so it was a great ride!!!

New Life and Little One!!!

I just wanted to add a quick note about my best friend Corrine. Her and her husband, Zach, had Abigail Strandy yesterday! She was delivered by Cesarean, but all went well! Just wanted to share how excited I was and am to be a new little aunt, with another part of my family! =) Pray for Corrine and Zach as they recover!!!
