My New Do!

I decided it was time for a change, a BIG change! So I've been growing out my hair so that I could donate it to a good cause when I whacked it all off! Since my sister is a Beautician, she did the honors of cutting and giving me my new look!

Before...

During...

This part was a little rough for Tobin to take photos of, but he was a good trooper!

After!

Moving Weekend

Once again, it's the end of the year...so what are the Rummels doing???? Packing and moving, of course! Thankfully, we had helping hands with Darrol and Marty Rummel, and the use of their covered snowmobile trailer. The weather was a bit "frightful" outside, but who would have it any other way 2 weeks before Christmas. The guys packed the trailer in 20 degree weather, and Marty and I scrub-a-dub EVERYTHING in the apartment!

Inside the trailer
The dwindling pile!
Just scrubbing away!
I'm not too sure what they were trying to accomplish with the plastic cover for the mattress...thankfully no one asphyxiated themselves.

We are having nice vacation time for the next two weeks...Then it's the Rummels Senior and Juniors that will be caravaning down in a Tahoe, Trailer, Subaru, and Toyota! Pray for good weather around New Years!!!

Babylegs...one more project before the move!

These were really fun to make! I followed this tutorial. I'll take some photos of them on babies when I get them to their intended owners...but I don't have those photos yet!

Happy Birthday Sis!

Today was my big sis' birthday! I know I'm posting this at almost the end of the day, but the celebration can continue! I just want to say she is an amazing sister, we've had lots of crazy times, our disputes (and fights), laughter, tears, and just good sis rivalry! I'm thankful the Lord blessed me with an older sister, especially since I still get hand-me-downs!

See what a good sister, reading to me, while I'm sucking my thumb!

She even drove several hours and did my hair for my sister-in-law's wedding.

Happy Birthday Sis, know that you are loved!

My projects

Now that Maryanne has her gifts, I can post a few of the things I was finished and working on.

Those are burp rags...I hear from my friens they are nice and absorbant for those

big spit up times!

I used a tutorial

High School Friends!

I try to get together and see those that I can when I get back to Bend, because it doesn't happen that often. Nich and Amanda, both friends from sports and high school, were able to get together. We went to McMinnimin's in Bend (I didn't realize how "big town" Bend is getting!). Their friend David joined us, and we enjoyed some good laughs, good memories, and catching up a bit.
It had been too long! But really, have we changed much?

David made sure he inspected the photo and then opted for a second. I'll post and let you be the judge of the better one.

Maryanne's Baby Shower

Maryanne is due in March, with a baby boy (yeah another nephew!) so we decided to have a baby shower while we were all in Bend (and one I could go to before Tobin and I are back in So Cal). It was mostly with family (all the girls of course), my Grandma Ruth was able to come too, so that was great. And Maryanne's friend, Lisa, from grade school and her mom, Denise, were able to make it! Maryanne got some good stuff to get her started!

I decided to get crafty and made a Diaper Cake! And now Maryanne has newborn diapers!

Cute little hat!

Lots of presents!

Old buddies: Maryanne and Lisa
Zoey wasn't too sure about my Aunt Cindi taking the photo (I guess)

Grandma Ruth made Zoey and Gracie bracelets...see on Zoey's left wrist?
Never too soon to start?!
